Use the Query Wizard to Create Queries on the Fly

Your SAP Business One system should be configured with the queries and reports you need to run on a regular basis. Some of these reports are out-of-the-box, while others are customized reports created specifically for your unique requirements.

Occasionally you might encounter a one-off situation where you need a report that doesn’t exist in your system and having us create a custom report just doesn’t make sense. This is commonly referred to as ad-hoc reporting.

One of the easiest methods to create an ad-hoc report is using the Query Wizard. This allows you to create SQL queries in SAP Business One, without needing any special SQL knowledge or assistance from IT.

For example, say you want to see a list of all your non-Canadian customers. This can easily be achieved by running the Query Wizard and selecting the criteria you would like to see on your report; no SQL skills required.
