SAP Business One does a lot, there’s no doubt about it. But for most of us, other businesses applications like Excel and Word still have their place. Maybe you create customer estimates in a spreadsheet. Or perhaps, like us, you create customer proposals in Word. Using a combination of different applications is all part of the process, but if you’re one of those users that lives in SAP Business One, wouldn’t it be nice if you didn’t have the leave the application every time you needed a different program?
With the Launch Application feature, you can be working in SAP Business One and quickly access those key documents at just the touch of a button. This way, you can stay on task in SAP Business One and access the outside information you need, all at the same time.
Word and Excel are just a couple common examples of how you can use this feature. But it’s by no means limited to this. Say you’re in accounting and you frequently find the need for your calculator – you can set that up as an application too. The options are pretty much endless – if you have the application on your PC, you can set it up in Launch Application so you always have easy access.
Follow our quick tutorial to set up your most used programs and you’ll be working more efficiently in no time!
