Re-installing SAP add-on(s):
- Log into workstation as Local Administrator Windows user.
- Log off from SAP client if logged in.
- Navigate to Control Panel, check if SAP addon(s) is listed. If so, perform uninstallation for problematic addon:
- Delete or rename the applicable addon folder under the following directory: C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\AddOns\. Repeat this step for all addon folders.
- Delete the temp files in SM_OBS_DLL folder within %temp% (if it points to something like …\temp\2\... check in other folders below …\temp\)
- Edit the file AddOnsLocalRegistration.sbo to remove the problematic Addon(s) registration; if reinstall all addons, rename or edit the file contain just the text:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?><ADDONS></ADDONS> - Modify the file AddOnsInstall.sbo to contain just the text: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-16"?><Install/>
- Remove the compatibility files (only applicable for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008R2).
- After pressing compatibility files, delete them from AppData folder (only applicable for Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008R2).
- Right Click on SAP client and select Run as administrator, log in using SAP user credentials, Addon installer will automatically load up, follow the wizard to perform addon installation. This should re-install all add-ons automatically.
